My system went out in the dead of winter. Had a number of contractors out to bid on replacing my gas furnace and AC--Pirrone's was the only one that offered 100% money back guarantee, and the only one that offered a unit with lifetime unit replacement coverage on the compressor for the AC, lifetime unit replacement for the heat exchanger on the furnace--apparently these are big-ticket items if they go bad. Salesman was a hoot and knew his stuff. They came out the next day and installed my new system--I got a higher Seer unit and already have noticed savings on my utility bills. They weren't the cheapest contractor, but I am very happy with their work! .

Please please please do not use this company. They overcharge, take forever to work, try to screw you over, they are very unprofessional and the receptionist/owner of company is rude. I had a technician come out last month to find out why my unit kept blowing a fuse. Asked originally for the technician to just diagnose the problem and give me a quote on the cost for the repairs and to call my fiance and explain to him what was wrong as he was paying for it. The tech took forever to diagnose the issue then comes back to me telling me I owe him $95 for the diagnostics then another $252 because he had fixed the issue, which were 2 wires on the outside unit that were loose and that he had to retape them together. So the only thing he did first of all was wrap some electrical tape around 2 wires and he wanted $252 for that!!!! but worst of all he never told me what was wrong and the estimated cost for fixing it!!! had i known he was just taping 2 wires together I could have done that myself!!! Of course I told him that I was not paying the $252 that all he was getting was the $95 to cover the cost of the diagnostics. And if he had to then he needed to go undo what he had done!! So he calls the owner and comes back and tells me I only owe him $95 so I gave him the $95 and did not sign the contract for the work he had done. A month later I get a bill in the mail for $252!!!! Dont waste your time with this company, even if they are the only ones that can come out that day!!! Your better off getting a hotel for the night and waiting for another company to come out. If they wanted to charge me $252 for simply taping 2 wires together, I couldnt even imagine what it would cost for a major repair!!

I sincerely appreciate your feedback. We at Pirrone's our always striving to do better in our service to our valued customers. On your unit, the way the wires were connected, they were fire prone. Our technician went ahead and made the repairs (which was much more than just taping wires together), preventing anything further chances of an electrical fire. I do realize there was confusion when it came to the actual cost of the repair but in the end, your charge was only $95 due to the confusion. We certainly can in the future do a better job of letting you and the rest of our customers know regards to any additional charges should they arise. Pirrone's Came out a few years ago to my system, he told me very honestly that the repair would likely not be the end of my problems. I was very impressed with the honesty and quality of my experience with them. I kept them in mind but wanted to shop around on AC doctor to compare prices. I found them to have the best written guarantees with the most reasonable cost. 2 days later I have a brand new system and high hopes of a lower bill. Thank you Pirrone's!
