Finally, please tell us about your experience with this contractor:

I called Fogel and they came to my home and were very professional and polite and they even had shoe covers to protect my floor. They looked at my unit and discussed my options and prices to repair with me in a very understanding way. My unit was 15 years old and the best option with the age and condition of my unit was to replace it. Oops I should have done better with maintenance. So they came to install my new unit straight out of the box and again were professional and they explained how it operated and how to use it and how to make it function in an cost efficient way. I am very happy with my unit and Fogel. I would tell anyone with questions don't think twice, you can't go wrong here. I spoke with Mrs. Fogel, one of the owners, and she and her husband both really care about their customers and not just money. My dog was ran over the same day and Mrs. Fogel called me twice to check on me and when my flowers arrived, I was not only a customer for life but was going to tell everyone I knew how wonderful they are.

Finally, please tell us about your experience with this contractor:

I Had Fogel out today due to my wonderful old heater and they were very friendly and compassionate and explained all my options for repair. They did not do any repairs until they gave me a written quote with the findings of the inspection and my choices for repairing the old heater. I believe that was very professional and a general good practice for business (I know I hate getting something fixed and after they fix it then its like wow how did you get there as far as the price). With this company they did not do anything except what I approved before the repair and the price was exactly what they said it would be not the Old \\\"oh well why I had the unit open I also found blah blah and then they add 500.00 to the price. So I would reccomend them to anyone that is looking for a fair price and reliable company. You wont be sorry or at least I\\\'m not !!!

I have been dealing with Fogel for about a year. I bought a new system last spring. It took them about 3 months to get it working correctly. It has broken down several times since then. Whenever I call them, their customer service is horrendous. I have yet to have a satisfactory experience with them. I will never use this compant once my warranty is up, nor would I reccomend it to anyone else.

We here at Fogel Services Inc strive to provide the best customer service experience possible and in the event that there is a machanical failure we always try to put ourselves in the customers position and get the issue corrected in a timely and professional manner. We are also a factory Authorized Dealer with Carrier therefore we offer a " 100% satisfaction Money Back Guarantee". So we are saddened to hear that you were unhappy with our service and we would love nothing more than to correct the situation. However, there was not a name or any contact info left for us to contact you. With you having the bad experience that you've described I would recommend calling and giving us the opportunity to resolve it. I also would like to state the obvious," if this review were a "REAL" unhappy customer then they would have used their name and not just "Tom Tom". If you were treated the way you are describing then I would imagine that you would not mind giving that inforamtion out. Only we "The Dealer" can see it. So I don't think its a privacy issue. So I am truely sorry that you are dissatisfied and would love to be given the chance to correct the situation. I also will let you know that if you aren't comfortable working this out with us then you can call Carrier at 1-800-Carrier and they will ask you for your model and serial numbers and then adddress the situation for you. I called Fogel and spoke with someone named Tania on the phone and she was very kind and understanding of my problem and they had someone to me house in 1 hour of the original call.They fixed the problem and I called around and felt they were in the same price range with other companies in the phone book. I called a small company last year and they came out took 1000.00 from me for a coil and I have never heard from them agian. This companies (Fogel\'s) original fee (I guess they call it a diagnostic charge) was more than the company from last year but at least with them I know if I call tomorrow the phone number will not be disconnected.So I have cool air now and I still have money left to go to the zoo this weekend. Finally, please tell us about your experience with this contractor:

I was pleased with Fogel's service overall. Our AC went out on Easter and we were disappointed to find out that they charge more than double the diagnostic fee to come out on the weekend/holiday. I called back first thing Monday morning and they were able to get out to my house by 10am. Alex was so friendly an very knowledgable. He was able to quickly assess the problem and had the repairs complete in about an hour. I called around to check the fees/rates that they quoted me and they seemed maybe a little bit higher (frion in particular) but not by much. Every business breaks down the fees a little differently so its not real easy to compare. Would definitely call them again.

Our ac didnt work and they got it replaced just in time for the 87 degree weather on friday. They were very fair priced, fast, and cleaned up after themselves.
