Beware Of Carbon Monoxide!

February 5th, 2010 by Melissa Doyle

According to Punxsutawney Phil, we still have 6 more weeks of winter. That means at least 6 more weeks of running your furnace. If you remembered to get your furnace serviced at the beginning of the heating season, then you’re in good shape. If not, then you may want to do so. There is a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning when your home is heated by a furnace and your yearly maintenance check up looks for cracks where it is likely to leak from. Carbon Monoxide is completely odorless and tasteless so it is undetectable by the human body. It is also heavier than oxygen so it displaces the oxygen in the air you breathe and causes your red blood cells to become unable to absorb oxygen. If you did not get your winter check up, any of our certified AC Doctor contractors would be happy to set up an appointment to do so.

  2. The initial show of the new series, broadcast on Saturday, featured a kissogram, a naked Doctor along with a “sexed up” Tardis.Throughout the unique 65-minute episode, The Eleventh Hour, in which Physician Who had 20 minutes to save Earth from aliens identified as the Atraxi, his new companion, Amy Pond, was revealed as a kissogram dressed in a skimpy policeman’s outfit, complete with mini-skirt and handcuffs. In one scene, Amy, played by the actress Karen Gillan, told the Dr that her kissogram repertoire also included nuns and nurses’ outfits. Discover out extra at Sci Fi Fan.

  3. The 3-inch phone will sell uncloked for a bit much more than $300 and will come with common Android 1.6 characteristics and Sony Ericsson’s software program enhancements, like an integrated social feed reader and Facebook app. Classed as an entertainment smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 targets price-conscious users looking for a stylish Android handset that doesn’t necessarily need to run the newest firmware. The custom interface is comparable to that of the Xperia X10 mini, including customizable corners for one-touch access to your favourite apps.A brief glance at the Xperia X8 shows a compact handset that fits completely within the palm of one’s hand. Measuring just 99 x 54 x 15 mm and weighing in at 104 grams, it’s narrower and lighter than iPhone four. And even although it packs a 3-inch display with capacitive touchscreen, it offers the same 320×480 pixel resolution like the three.5-inch display on the iPhone 3GS.
