AC Blower Ran Constantly, Now It Won't Run At All

So I noticed our AC blower fan was "stuck" on. Even when the AC itself was off and in the auto fan position it would remain on. I thought nothing of it. Today when I woke up I noticed the power had gone out and it was hot. The AC lines outside were frozen so I let them defrost for a few hours. Now, when I turn the AC to cool it kicks on outside but the inside blower only makes a slight hum and then goes silent. When I flip the fan to on it's the same result. Any advice? It's 100 in FL right now :/

This could be caused by a number of things. A couple of the more simple causes could be a bad run capacitor or a malfunctioning thermostat. However, in this situation where you need a speedy resolution, it would be a good idea to contact a qualified air conditioning contractor in your area to inspect your system and properly diagnosis your specific issues.
