We purchased a 1500 sf building and are remodelling it. We need to install a central HVAC stystem in order for the lender to provide long term financing. Is there a financing program to install hvac systems for small businesses in Texas?

In general, small businesses do not qualify for the traditional consumer/homeowner fnancing programs. However, there are a couple options that you may want to consider: 1) Applying for a builder loan that can be rolled into the long term financing that you referred to in your queston once the remodeling is complete or 2) Looking into Commercial Leasing on the HVAC equipment. Commercial leasing is often attractive to the small business owner because it does not drastically effect cash flow, provides tax advantages and normally has a very low buy out at the end of the lease term.
