How Do You Wire A Fan Motor?

I need to replace my outside unit fan motor and the wires are different colors than the unit's. I need a wireing diagram.

Unfortunately each manufacturer uses different color coding for their wiring. There should be a diagram in the box, if not we recommend checking the manufacturers website or finding a qualified dealer in your area on acdoctor.com.

Replace wires one at a time, several will match old wires. Two of the extra wires should be for the ROTATION of the motor. Just make sure there is a strong upward draft when motor is replaced. Always replace the capacitor ; don't use old the one on a new motor, that may damage the windings.
