One popular solution is to install a separate heating/cooling system specifically for conditioning the bedroom space. Mini split system air conditioners and heat pumps are a common choice.

It's likely you have an air duct leaking, pretty common. The tape joint may have failed on duct leading to bedrooms. Not so fun going up in attic or under house where ducts are.
